Weapons

What about weapons? Don't worry we do a little better than spear and arrow... but not much. Flint locks and cannons of various designs are widely available, swords, bows and arrows and things of that nature. Those are the basic categories that are available to everyone whether they make or buy them. As for something a little more high end there are castor weapons. Small shells that, through either magic or alchemy produce one or more (typically two max) of the six elements. What are these elements? Well, I'm glad you asked! We have Light, Dark, Fire, Water, Wind, and Earth. These weapons are available in several sizes ranging from single shot hand weapons to cannon sized castor rifles.

Transportation

Surely everyone doesn't have to hoof it everywhere right? Excellent question! Of course not. The inhabitants of this world are intelligent and have come up with several ways of getting from one place to the other besides walking. One, probably the most obvious, is the steam locomotive. Most of these span between the major cities of the Heart. There are however those who have made steam powered carriages, but mostly people use the old fashioned sort drawn by beasts of burden. But let’s not forget air travel! There are airships that lift from the ground via large balloons even craft like zeppelins. There are sea going vessels that are powered by steam and sail as well.
